Since 1994, Prince Edward Island's 2SLGBTQIA+ community has proudly marched through the streets of Charlottetown, gathering in visibility, celebration, and collective action. Pride parades have long been more than celebrations, they are a reflection of a movement rooted in advocacy, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity.

Join us on Saturday, July 25 at 10 a.m. for the official Pride Parade as we continue this important tradition. The parade will wind through downtown Charlottetown with colourful floats, community groups, performers, and thousands of Islanders coming together in a joyful display of pride and solidarity.

This year's festival invites us to reflect on the meaning of home. For many of us, home is more than a place, it's the people who stand beside us, the communities that welcome us, and the movement that reminds us we belong. As we march together, we celebrate the many ways we build home for ourselves and one another.

Following the parade, join us at Rochford Square for a community rally that honours the activist roots of Pride and connects us to the generations of advocates who helped make this celebration possible.
