Pride PEI Community Guidelines

Pride PEI is dedicated to fostering online spaces that are socially, physically accessible, and free from oppression, harassment, and discrimination.

We commit to treating each other with respect and dignity, regardless of age, race, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, and all other diverse identities.

Everyone participating in this hub—including staff, volunteers, artists, and patrons—has a responsibility to uphold these values.

Our Expectations

1 Respect Personal Online Boundaries

Respect others' personal boundaries online. This includes refraining from unwelcome messages, intrusive comments, and sharing personal information without consent.

2 No Hate Speech or Harmful Language

Any form of hate speech or harmful language will not be tolerated. This includes slurs, degrading language, and sexist, racist, or transphobic remarks.

3 Zero Tolerance for Harassment

Harassment of any kind, whether directed at participants, volunteers, staff, or artists, is strictly prohibited.

If Pride PEI staff, board members, or volunteers receive feedback that any of these expectations have been violated, the violator will be asked to leave the platform and may be banned if necessary.

This action may impact your ability to submit events of profiles through the Pride PEI Community Hub in future. We will address these matters in consultation with the community to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.
