This year, we proudly present the sixth annual Public Service Pride Week, themed "Unity in Diversity." This theme underscores the federal public service's commitment to fostering an inclusive and unified workplace, particularly in the face of adversity. At the heart of this celebration is a dedication to creating spaces where every individual, especially those from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, feels a profound sense of belonging.
Haus Dijon with Public Service Pride Network is honoured to host a special in-person event in Charlottetown as part of this vibrant week of celebrations. Our event will bring together 2SLGBTQIA+ colleagues, allies, and local organizations, including Pride PEI and PEERS Alliance, to highlight the diverse resources and support available on Prince Edward Island. This gathering is more than a social event; it's a celebration of community, diversity, and unity.
Join us in the afternoon for a special session celebrating and honouring Two-Spirit pride, and then stay for an early-evening filled with light snacks, refreshments, and (voluntary) activities designed to foster connection and highlight the incredible work of local organizations. Together, we will create an atmosphere of acceptance, respect, and friendship.
