Description: Through guided movement, accessing a medium of play and infinite exploration, this workshop will teach beginner-intermediate hula hoop skills: this class will circle through skills learned in the PART ONE session, going deeper to create smoother , sensual , playful dance flows and easy buildable routines to take home should you choose to continue journeying through hoops! Didn’t make it to Part One? Don’t worry you can still attend this fun & interactive workshop!

ACCESSIBILITY CONSIDERATIONS:
The main entrance is located on Grafton Street next to Subway. This entrance requires climbing two flights of stairs. An alternative, accessible entrance is through the Confederation Court Mall on Grafton Street. Wheelchairs and strollers are available from the Confederation Centre at the Lotto Booth on Level 1. A valid ID is required to borrow them. Elevators and escalators are available throughout the mall and provide access to all three floors, including the studio level.
The studio is on the second floor near the food court. It features a well-lit, spacious layout with floor-length mirrors and ample room for movement. The event accommodates up to 15-20 participants.

Letting Go: An Introduction to Medicine & Song w/ Rainier Ward

Join Rainier Ward for this special workshop that combines ceremony with open forum style discussion centering letting go of pain and embracing medicine. Participants will interact with a bundle and various medicines and learn about their purpose, while being given the opportunity to share what it means to them.

This introductory hot yoga experience will help you move your body and enjoy a supportive community space during the cold March weekend. Whether you're a yoga newbie or a seasoned practitioner, this class promises a gentle, accessible approach to warming up and connecting with yourself and others during Polar Pride Fest.

Pole workshop w/ Aerial Warehouse

Join this fun and welcoming introductory session is perfect for beginners looking to explore pole as a form of movement, expression, and empowerment. Over the course of this workshop, you'll learn the foundations of pole while building strength and confidence with your community. No experience required—just come as you are and be ready to have fun!
