Siddhu Sneh

Born in Chennai, India, their childhood led to an exposure of a myriad of styles. This has furnished them with an unparalleled ability to adapt and evolve as an artist, record producer, composer and performer. Caught in the evolving process exploring and building their own sound, their style is an attempt to unify those of jazz, hip-hop, south asian traditional music, and music from around the world. 7000 miles away from where they grew up, siddhu found themself and lost themself.

Their music transcends boundaries and connects with their listeners spiritually, radiating love and integrating community. They speak for a generation trapped between multiple cultures, struggling with modernity and its perils. A treatise on the journey inwards into their mind via the mirrors of psychedelics, siddhu sneh's music is an ironic surreal take on some very real issues that'll resonate with all of us.

Siddhu has performed over 250 concerts with various renowned traditional Indian musicians and jazz musicians since the age of 7; more recently, they have been performing alternative hip-hop music with their collective, The Umbrella Collective, across Canada / Turtle Island. siddhu has also recently won multiple awards with their collective from PEI/Epekwitk for their debut tape as a Record producer with The Umbrella Collective, with whom they completed their debut mini-tour this Summer 2024, performing at renowned festivals like Calgary Folk Fest and Vancouver Island MusicFest.

Siddhu sneh is also working with local artists Loïc, 2Bias, Forty Worldwide and The Umbrella Collective & other Queer, Trans and BIPOC artists on Epekwitk on multiple records that are set to release throughout the coming years. They are releasing their debut tape “i am” this August 29th, 2025. They look to reinvigorate the music scene in across Turtle island with their music and connect to a diverse audience through the healing power of love.
