Pride PEI to Host Town Halls in Summerside and Charlottetown
Pride PEI’s Board of Directors invite Islanders to share their questions, opinions and ideas
(Prince Edward Island) – This month, Pride PEI will host Town Halls in Summerside and Charlottetown to offer Islanders an opportunity to provide feedback, engage with the Board and help plan the 2021 PEI Pride Festival.
“We are looking forward to connecting with Members of Pride on how we can better serve the 2SLGBTQIA+ community,” said John Kimmel, Chair of Pride PEI. “Pride PEI’s Town Halls are great opportunities to engage with Islanders and, for Pride to ensure that our work continues to align with the needs of our community members across PEI.”
The Board of Directors will kick off the meeting with an update on the organization’s activities and key goals, followed by discussions with attendees about the 2021 PEI Pride Festival — taking place from July 18 to 25 — and how Pride PEI should define the 2SLGBTQIA+ abbreviation. The meeting will conclude with an open question and answer period.
Those interested in attending are invited to pre-register below to save their spot.
